I recently had a thought about preserving some fish in jars. Apparently, it's easy to do with rubbing alcohol, but the colors will get bleached. I've read you can "fix" the fish with formalin before you transfer them to alcohol, but I'm not sure if the colors will be fixed, too. Has anyone ever done this? Is there a way I could preserve some fish without them losing their colors (at least not for a few years)?
