Lost power three hours ago. How long before filter goes sour?

Pull the media from the filter and hang it in the tank. that way as you manually move water around useing a net in a figure 8 motion (added benifit of removing small particles as well depending on how fine your net is) the filter media will have some water circulating around it. if you are using Efimech Pro (the plastic black stuff) bag it up otherwise you'll be fishing it out till christmass.

my power was out for nearly three days a few months back in a bad storm. I did nothing to the filters, left them as is and they came back on when power came back. Did not notice any ill effects so I would say do nothing.

I did start water changes the second day like 25% each day, but other than that nothing.
