Are there any special precautions I should take if I put my plants in pots of flourite. I want to be able to move them around for cleaning or just to be able to rearrange them.

The usual concerns:

1) Substrate needs some circulation/oxygen to avoid going anaerobic. Limit depth in pots to 2-3", leave as much open area as possible. Mesh can be attached to keep substrate from escaping while still allowing circulation. Pots made from breathable materials like unglazed terra-cotta might help a bit too.

2) Depending on the size of plants and planters, plants may become rootbound.

One of the people here makes riparium stuff and makes planters/pots specifically for this purpose that look great. I can't remember his user name but I'm sure someone else will.
