Post your CRS water parameters...

Just wondering what everyone is keeping them at and how they are doing at your current parameters. As much as I have avoided getting some, I'm thinking about giving them a try, but only if I don't have to do a special tank for them.

With pH that high? That's what I want to hear. In the stickies the care sheet says pH in the mid-7 range, but it seems that everyone is keeping them at around 6.5 or lower. My pH is around 7.6 and I'd like to give CRS a try, but I really don't want to set up another tank right now.

I read a post from member in other forum. He has PH 5-5.5 and TDS 120

Looks like pure line CRS don't care for parameters much.
This is my param for CRS

PH: 6.6-6.7
TDS: 150ppm
GH: 4
KH: 2-3
Temp: 76-77 degree
So, looks like mid 6's is the norm with a couple extremes high and low. I am kinda interested in more info on the shrimp living and breeding in the pH 7.5-7.8 water. That I can do now. Otherwise, it'll be another darn tank to setup. Probably go small with this one if it has to happen. Looks like I should have hung on to that bag of Akadama afterall :(

Have pure line beni bachi's and ss+/sss shrimp, probably close to 100 shrimplets, and all females are berried at all times, low % of baby death.
I noticed that some of the well experienced people that posted their GH keep it around 4. From the information I have gathered here, I thought a GH of 5 was optimal for CRS?

If I kept my GH at 4, I could lower my TDS. So which is better? GH of 5? or a lower tds? My tds ranges from 170-190 at a GH Of 5.
