This vendor is already cited in the diy section. I suggest you take a look there, lots of information. I am reading myself because I want to do a diy led myself.

Any regrets will be gone after a couple of months.
Regrets about the cost will be gone when it finally sinks in that you haven't had to price or replace tubes/lamps/bulbs.
