Leaves of p. palustris can display various degrees of serration depending on conditions. It could still be the same sp.

aka Parrot's feather

Parrots feather is actually Myriophyllum aquaticum. It looks like Proserpinaca palustris to me but could be P. pectinata.

Parrot's feather is a name used for Myriophyllum aquaticum. Proserpinaca are commonly called mermaid weed.

Were the leaves like that emersed? If so, and it wasn't in transition, it's P. pectinata. If not, P. palustris
