"Synonyms: Ludwigia palustris (erroneous)"

Does that mean that Ludwigia palustris doesnt exist anymore?
When it says synonyms there, it means hobby synonyms, not necessarily botanical ones. L. palustris is still a perfectly good species. It's just that L. repens x arcuata is ofetn sold in error as L. palustris, hence the "erroneous".

Real L. palustris is very common and can be found everywhere it seems.

I figured it was like r.rotundifolia and r.indica.
It is; both are valid species (one a hybrid in this case), but one is mistaken for the other. An example of what you're thinking of would be Helanthium tenellum (new) vs Echinodorus tenellus (old).
