I like the first combination the best. 1 schooling fish species(actually, in this case, more shoaling than schooling in regard to Harlequins) is always better in a smaller tank than 2. (This is, of course, my opinion.) I find you get more natural behaviors with one species. Also, the more corydoras the better. They are more comfortable in crowds.
