Hi,

I have a 95G tank with pressurized CO2. The tank has 4 T5 bulbs of 54W each. I have 2 on for 9 hours. The other 2 switch on for 4 hours in the middle of the 9 hours. I dose E.I. ferts.

My Amazon Swords do not grow as much as they're supposed to. And the Echinodorus Barthii and Echinodorus Ozelot remain very very low. The ozelot leaves are really small!

What might be the reason for this?

Lack of nutrients?

What substrate do you grow them in? Do you add any fertilizer around the roots, or add nutrients to the water column?

I use TetraPlant Complete substrate apart from plain sand. But I don't add any other fertilizer around the roots.

IME root tabs can make a big difference with sword plants.
