Plants for a Amazonian bio-type

I already have a long list, but what else could I add? Would would be a good carpet and plants that groww very quickly and are pretty much weeds? My lights are 2 25w screw-in bulbs. I got it off craigslist so Im not 100% sure about F5, F8 or that stuff. Add would red plants would be good?
