I finally got an external CO2 reactor and took out my powerhead. Now, I have some empty space by the right side of the tank. I also put the spray bar by the right side too. So, the water current is going from right to left. I am looking for some species that would grow tall but within 17 to 19 inches. Long and narrow leaves with somewhat rigid profile in order to not get blown all side way by the water coming out from the spray bar. I looked at the various Val species but they all tend to grow extremely tall. I have a medium-high light with pressurized CO2 tank.

I have some vals in my 20 gallon and they seem to be perfect height.
