Well first off I am new to the site, my name is Matthew and I have been keeping plants for a little while. I would'nt say I am a beginner though. I was wondering how do you plant stem plants? I planted my hygrophila corymbosa 'siamensis' about a inch apart and they were planted individualy. I was wondering if all stem plants are planted this way or maybe smaller leaved plants are planted in groups (2-3)?

Large stems like limno aromatica and P. erectus I plant individually or in twos. Thin stems like ludwigias I grab like 5 stems and stick them in the dirt. High light loving plants need ample space though otherwise they'll choke each other out.
