Just got some potted Micro Sword and I have a question on planting.
Do you bury the rhizome in the substrate or keep it on top of the substrate
Like Java? I've remove it from the wool.
Thanks

Yeah, I basically split my micro swords up blade-by-blade. The picture below is my tank right after I planted it using tweezers. (Planting by hand is pretty much impossible). But yeah, it has been about 2 days since I plated them and they are doing pretty good. Still waiting for some new growth tho. Heard that they are slow; hard to grow plants tho. I guess I am going to have to wait and see.

Also, was told it you wanted to try to get coverage plant the micro sword like shown in the picture (like I explained above), but if you wanted bushy thick growth in a particular spot to plant blades tightly together where you want it. Just a couple of options.

And to answer you question: Bury the rhizome in the substrate.

Hope this helps and everything works out.

Thanks! Lost my HC from hair algae attack when my DIY co2 quit while I was on Vacation.
Didn't want to lose these by screwing up right off the bat.
