So I'm pretty sure I planted the glosso wrong. It doesn't seem to be spreading well through the flourite. It sends some runners over the top, but then they tend to float with roots reaching down. Some pieces have turned into vertical stems, but only the ones that started that way.
Any tips?

How do I turn the vertical growing specimens into laterally growing ones?

If this means I didn't plant deep enough, how deep do I plant?

Hopefully I won't have to cut them up and replant each piece again, especially since the cories have already been reintroduced.

IME glosso only sends runners over the surface, but it should root as it goes. If it is lifting upwards then it is short of light. Aside from changing your light in some way then there really isnt anything you can do.
