This is my first attempt at a planted tank, so I thought I'd share it will y'all. I have 1 Senegal bichir, 1rainbow shark, 2 leaf fish, and 2 algae eaters. Unfortunately, I do not know exactly what types of plants I have, as I bought them as petco assortments, and the small redish purple one was a bulb that I managed to grow quite well, I believe it's a water fern...... Could you guys help me identify them? Thanks! I also plan on adding a DIY CO2 system in the next week or two, whenever I get time.

The green and white one right next to the filter intake is a house plant called Dracaena sanderiana. It is not an aquatic.
that's really weird, cause I thought non-aquatic plants rotted when kept submersed in water, yet these have been quite happy and healthy looking for two weeks.

And here are close ups of the other plants
this one underwent a brief melting shorty after being added to the tank, but it seems to be coming back now
sorry about the terrible picture, old phone +placement of tank and the plant in the tank

Also, how good of an idea would it be to use the waste water from an RO system for this tank? I would assume it would much higher in mineral concentration, so would this be beneficial to the plants, or would it be more harmful to the fish?
