The blue light can be used by the plants.. If it tints the tank to a bluish tone you don't like then no..

Also, is it okay to leave the blue/moonlight led on all night during off-photo period? Will that disturb the resting fish and plants?

That's too bad. I'm really curious as to how my tank would look at night with the blue on.

On a personal note... and small @nal point.. "moonlight" is white..

Blue is not my favorite color...

Any photons illicit photosynthesis.. I suspect it is not enough to throw the plants natural cycles out of wack.. unless it is overly bright...


if I liked blue I'd be in saltwater..
