Generally speaking does this sounds like a doable stocking in my heavily planted 5 gal tank. 6-8 chili rasboras, Amano shrimp, 3 Pygmy Corydoras, and cherry red shrimp? Currently have 5 of the rasboras and an Amano in the tank an am waiting for nitrites to go back down before stocking more.

I would think the corys would be a bit much. Plus they like to be in larger groups.

Yeah I wouldn’t add the cories either, I’d just stick with your rasboras and shrimp. Maybe some snails too for extra help with algae.

Yeah that's way to much live stock for a 5gal I would only add 6 rasboras and 12 or so shrimp maybe some smaller snails thats about it. I wouldn't even add 1 corydora in an aquarium that small they are really active fish and will probably stress out the Cory. It's recommended that a single pygmy corydora should be kept in a minimum of 10 gallons 5gals per fish. 15gal for 2, 20gal for 3
