I am so confused on how to set up lighting that isn't hanging from the ceiling for a 150 gallon aquarium. It is 72" x 18"x 29"

Can I buy three clip lights that mount to the back? Ideally I would like to clip these on the back of the tank to shine down through the glass canopy. I would have plants on either side of the tank with the middle being open swimming space. This would be a low tech tank.

Any advice, or assistance you can offer would be really appreciated, because I am so confused.

You should be able to use Clip lights. You can also get two 36" strip fixtures and put them end to end. Not sure if there are any manufacturers that make 72" strip lights.
Beamsworks does..
EVO 72 LED Reef Bright

you can usually find the 6500k ones on the e of the bay...
They come and go though.. none currently...
