I have a general plant trimming quaestion. What is the easiest way to trim rooted plants? Just go in the tank with a scissors and snip? Where to snip.

For example, I have a Amazon sword that has 2 leaves that are brown and dead. Do I cut just the leaf off or that whole stem?

Any websites on how to trim certain plants??

Do I cut the complete stem to the dead leafs, or just the leaf? The old stem is also turning brown, Im assuming due to alot of new sprouters.

The complete leaf including the stem, basically remove the leaf at the gravel level.

I really like Karen Randall. I hated it when she quit writing a monthly article for a magazine a few years ago. At the time, when I got the new month's magazine; that was the first place that I flipped to.
