I’ve just got my new 60L cube, wanting some suggestions on what people would keep if it was up to you with my equipment.

Lighting - Fluval Nano planted

Filter - Eheim classic 250

Co2 - pressurised via inline diffuser

Ferts - single dosing pump as low as 1.5ml each day, meant to be 1ml but overdoses

Hardscape is a single piece of wood, has been soaking for 10 days now, should be ready soon

Substrate - this is where I don’t want stem plants ideally, I want sand as my substrate, I’ve had fully carpeted aquariums and I want a change, so ideally I’m looking at Anubias, bucephalandra & mosses perhaps?

Dwarf hairgrass would be good to fill in the foreground. Maybe some Java ferns in the wood. And a tiger lotus in the back?

Tank is probably too small for tiger lotus.

Looking to stay away from any sort of carpeting plant, previous tanks have had DHG carpet and a Monte Carlo carpet, look nice, once it’s grown out something always ruins it whether a snail digs underneath or something happens.

Going for a full sand bed foreground, no plants, ideally just plants on the wood it’s self
