Plant Selection Source?

Is there somewhere I can find how to narrow the best plants under certain conditions?

I'm trying to find tall plants for a low tech, warmer temp (79-80F), slightly acidic pH (6.6), soft water. The Cambodia I currently have looks nice, but it requires too much maintenance. I'm hoping to replace it with something hardy that doesn't pick up as much dirt and algae.

Thanks!

Take a look at this site. You can use several filters found on the left hand side to sort through this data base of plants, including geographic region, light requirements, temp tolerance, difficulty, etc.

Cambodia? Do you mean cabomba? I have some, I just let the suckers grow, it's super cool to watch them start growing across the surface and drop more roots.

For tall plants, have you looked into Willow Hygrophila or Jungle/Giant Val.? Perhaps giant anubias?

Yes Cambomba (sorry!). It's pretty if I only had to look at it. Thanks for your suggestions.
