i everyone,

A month or so ago I bought this plant for my shrimp tank, at the time thinking it was hornwort. It goes grow fast and my RCS love it, but as I look at other pictures of hornwort and read about how it behaves, I’m starting to question if it might be a different plant.

The leaves/stem structure look different than anything I can find online, and it is dropping these long root feelers that doesn’t seem consistent with hornwort.

Am I wrong? I’m happy with the plant, it would just be great to know what I’m growing!

Hi,

it doesn't look like Hornwort to me. Hornwort does not develop any roots. I would guess it's a Naja species. Maybe najas indica.
