Hi can anyone id the sort of spikey bushy plant on the lower right in this pic coming out from between the two bits of wood please? It's form a post by dapellegrini

I agree with Jen, it's definitely Hemianthus micanthemoides.

Yes that is HM. There are a few different sorts. That particular variety is a 3-leaf, creeping variant.
