Will it survive long term despite being terrestrial? It's very likely "Mondo grass" - Ophiopogon japonicus, a terrestrial plant often sold as an aquatic. The grooved leaves and heavy root structure is pretty distinctive. I've seen the green, dwarf and "black" versions sold in pet stores.
Thats a good question, i didnt research about, but i do know they grow better emerged. Theres an update picture of rnWill it survive long term despite being terrestrial?

I posted videos of this tank, but not updated i will soon make one showing the whole thing with the new plants and plant growth. they are in my youtube channel i created for this forum and family around the world. It looks really nice- like it is doing well.
If it is mondo grass, it won't survive long term completely submersed, but if you plant it higher up and the leaves are exposed it will. I once had it for years that way. Will it survive long term despite being terrestrial?
