I just picked up this plant at petco and it's labeled Ludwigia palustris, but I don't think that's correct. Can anyone help me out with an ID? It looks like Lilaeopsis brasiliensis to me, but I'd like some confirmation. Thanks.

Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is the first thing that came to mind. Actually "micro sword" came to mind first, then I looked up what Lilaeopsis brasiliensis was.

I just got one of these and it looks similar. I'm not that familiar with various plant species, so it's possible that there may be other similar looking plants.

it isnt regular Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, it's the emersed form. The submersed form isn't oblong, the leaves are just straight. Only in the emersed form do the leaves get that oblate shape. Once you plant it underwater, it should die back a little bit, but not too bad.
