Southern States store had this pond plant basket underwater and in the middle of everything is this green leafed plant that has been underwater but remains nameless. Any clues just by the pics? I know I should probably pull some out for a better pic, but thought maybe it was common enough for easy ID. That is a female blue/green betta in the pic too! I just had to put her outside this summer. She's been a real bitch lately to other fish. :}

The other plants are creeping jenny, parrot feather, dwarf papyrus.

Yea, I'll get some better pics tomorrow when the sun comes up. It's a mystery plant.

Apparently, this is red ludwigia. They have it at the nursery growing as a bog plant too. Above the water it is a beautiful red. I think it has been in the shade under green water.

ok,so that was the one you were asking about,it's ludwigia repens.I like it in my tall tanks,it wants to reach the top no problem.It's actually native to the southern U.S.
