Plant ID Help

Hello Hanji...

My source person in the area of hydroponics, says it's Hygrophila corymbosa "Stricta". Apparently, the hydroponics guys like to grow this plant emersed. This means the plant is grown in very shallow water and as the plant grows it rises above the water. It's a very nice looking plant, but wouldn't work in my low light, low tech tanks.

Scarlet Temple

Definitely looks like the Alternanthera reineckii as you mentioned. Or as I like to call it, the Scarlet Temple. Such a beautiful plant. Make sure you have high light and CO2 is optional, but not a must. Many may say otherwise, but I have kept this plant for over a year and have propagated it several times!

Here are mine, I love their colors!
