Went to the LFS today, and they had a batch of plants that had been sent by their supplier instead of something else they'd ordered and weren't certain what it was. It looks like some sort of rotala to me, plus I've seen several rotala species come through that store, but having never kept rotalas, I could easily be wrong.

Anyway, the plants in the backgroud are Limno hippuridoides and the plant in the forground is Downoi in case that helps as a size reference.

Thanks!

Checked pics and I think you're right. For some reason I had it in my head that rotundifolia had a sharper and more narrow leaf. Guess I should have checked pics before assuming my memory was correct. lol For some reason rotalas in general aren't hugely common in my area so I don't see them often.

Thanks for the help I appreciate it!
