Anyone know why plant this is? I got it from my pond in central Indiana. There is alot of it and looks decent.

Well your correct, It does smell like mint! So does that mean it is mentha aquatica or bacopa caroliniana? The leaves have smooth edges.

I just gathered a handful of that stuff from a pond near my house. Really fast grower.

Mentha aquatica. Always up early. Veins look right.

No caroliniana in Indiana anyway.
