My 9G cube is a mess right now. I fully admit to neglecting it for too long and now I've got a cornucopia of algae in there. Its time for a TOTAL reboot...as in from scratch. I have a TONE of anubias in particular I want to keep. Most of the leaves are covered with fuzz, beard, or other "non-scrapable" algea. The plants as far as I can tell are still definitely viable and despite the adverse conditions continue to push out a new leaf every now and then. The question is, what is my best bet for getting these back to health? Is it possible to take them out and literally plant them in small pots like houseplants for a while or will that just kill them after living underwater for so long?
