Dear friends,

I am starting a new 30x30x30 nano tank. I have experience on low-tech. I am starting my new tank with aqua-soil and have CO2. What are your plant advices (not so hard) for a nano tank like mine. I want to use short height plants...

Hey there! I see your post went unanswered?
I have a nano 10gal, also low-tech, filterless, with Co2 and aquasoil capped with sand.
The plants that are working well for me and are easier are the Staurogyne repens (needs at least medium light), pearlweed (grows very fast but can achieve a nice carpet), azolla fillicoloids (needs trimming quite often though), Ludwigia repens (very nice looking and doesn't need trimming too often), as for more shorter plants, any crypt stays relatively small, you could do Anubias nana petite or other anubias types (most stay smaller), then there's more! Monte carlo makes a nice carpet, last one, I swear! Red tiger lotus can stay 'short' looking if you don't let it reach the surface.
Good luck!
