Hello.
I've had this tank planted since April, but the watersprite is pretty much dominating the tank and I'm tired of trimming it every few days. I would like to do away with the water sprite and do something else with the middle of the tank, but I'm not sure what would be best.
I would like to add a manzanita branch, but I'm fairly certain my husband won't buy me a 30 - 50 dollar piece of wood.
Things I have available are an ugly piece of mopani, I can gather rocks from a local river/lake, and I do have a reddish plant in my 10 gallon that hitch hiked, I believe it's ludwigia, but I'm not sure if it will have monstrous growth rates like the sprite or not.

EI Dosing (For the most part)
7 Odessa Barbs, 3 Flag Fish, 2 SAE, 1 Atabapo Pleco, 1 BN Pleco, 1 Bichir, some snails.

I sort of like it the way it is now, but understandable that you are tired of having to trim so often.

Ludwiga would look nice. It requires iron. It does not grow fast.

Oh? Ok, maybe I'll just take some of the sprite out and plant some lugwigia beside i.

Ok, took an a$$load of the watersprite out, and planted the ludwigia, not sure you can see it in these phone pics. Fish seem to be enjoying the extra space.

I'm going to try to get more red plants, the ones I have don't really show up well in the cell phone pics. Maybe when they grow in a bit.
