Has anyone else been watching these episodes?
IMO amazing cinematography. They managed to capture some really amazing footage.
The footage is good in regular definition, but if you have HD, and get Discovery HD, you have to watch this show.

Yeah no kidding. I can watch Discovery HD all day. Something I wouldn't normally watch on regular TV, is somehow instantly interesting when it's in HD!

LOL, this is too true. I tried to get my wife to watch "Alien Insect: Praying Mantis". Really interesting, great macro footage again, but the Mrs thinks I've lost my mind to HD. :redface:

Awesome show definitely! They have definitely upped the ante after their first run at it with "Blue Planet".

I tried to watch it but realized just how much I was missing out on without HD.

Hopefully this summer we will upgrade our service and TV to HD capable. Can't wait for that (need to get ready for the PS3).

Planet Earth is amazing in HD. I have only seen 3 of them and can't wait to watch the rest of them. I think I have a few on the DVR that I can watch.
