Pictures please of 20L stands

If you have done a DIY stand for a 20L aquarium.
Please post a few pictures of what you came up with.

I am capable of turning a few pieces of 2x4 into a real decent stand
without any plans or pictures, but i am curious as to what others
have come up with foe 20 Long aquariums.

My homemade 20l...oh and the bottom shelf wasn't really bowing like it looks in the picture, just odd angle.

Thanks! I just kinda winged it...its pretty simple construction wise, the legs are L shaped and then everything is glued and screwed on the backside of the L. I did look at the diy stand thread to get ideas though...someone built one by laminating plywood together, which helped me get the idea for this one.

I went ahead and built a 20L stand on my own.
Didnt have any replies here so i came up with something as i cut the wood.

King of a bad picture, i already posted this in the DIY stand thread.
Made the stand larger then the footprint of the aquarium.

Its going to get painted.

None of the wood matches so it would look real funny
if i were to stain it.
Im going to paint it black to match the trim on the tank.

the short story is that my significant other told me that i couldn't use up any more area in the house for fish tanks. this was my solution to the problem. :icon_cool

Nice double stand. I was trying to think where to put a 20 long river tank and not have Mrs. Man Blow a cork. Now I just have to move Stripey, Little Girl's snake, out of her room and into a double stand.

How tippy is it, do you have it anchored to the wall?

actually, it's very solid (not tippy at all). it is extremely heavy and just moving the stand is a pain. the cabinet is mainly made of baltic birch ply and the structural members are d.fir. the cabinet is filled with two CO2 tanks and two large canister filters, so it's got a little weight in the bottom. like all bookcases and shelves in my house (and especially living in california), everything is anchored to studs in the wall. cleaning has not been an issue. i would highly recommend at least 6-8 inches above the tanks for maintenance.
