Here are some iPhone shots of my 6 new discus courtesy of ref0716. Each was $20! They are amazing specimens. If your willing to drive to Suffolk County, LI then reach out to Richard for some amazing discus.

Young fish, with good coloration and reasonably well-shaped. They also seem alert & healthy, so for $20. each you got a good buy. Congrats.
They have a lot of growing to do, but may not near their potential in that planted tank.
Suggest you give them as large & frequent wcs as you can to give them their best chances for significant growth.
Nice tank - best of luck to you.
Thanks!

I'm planning on 33% water changes 3 times per week (MWF). I do thorough gravel vacuum each time. Good enough? I've read your posts and I will also clean the filters every 2 weeks or so.

You'll likely have better growth results making your wc's 60% -70% or more if you can.
Roger that.

Wow. I wish I could get some that size and color for $20 locally. Around here they'd be $80-$100.
Thanks for the plug, Adam. Very nice looking tank. Anybody else interested? Take care.

There are only a few 4 inch available, but still have lots of younger fish at 3-3.5 inch. They are priced at $20 each, or 6 for $100 if anybody is interested. Pick up only in Central Suffolk County, LI. Take care.
Richard
The 4 inch fish are spoken for. There are still plenty available from 2 inch ($10) up to 3.5 inch priced as above. Hurry before they are all gone for this season. Thanks for looking.
