I got home from a short trip this afternoon. My rainbows greeted me by putting on an AMAZING display of colors. I snapped a few pics and a video with my GoPro. I thought I would share with you all! I will be uploading a clip at some time in the future. Can anyone else comment as to how common this behavior is?

It's very common. My Rainbows flash and spar every day. Seems to be more in the morning and early evening.

Now that I have been spending more time viewing my tank, I can say it's even more than I ever thought.

Is the Lacustris flashing to another Lacustris? Mine tend to spar mostly with their own kind.

Always interesting to observe, and the color display can be fantastic.

Gorgeous! Must be even cooler in person!

Mine are still pretty young and new here, but seem to flash and spar everyday. Even my threadfin rainbowfish flash and do all of that everyday. It's pretty amazing to watch :+1:?
