Should I replace my 122 ph probe? I recently moved and unbeknownst to me I guess its supposed to be stored wet. Well I simply put the cap on "dry" when moving and its been in storage for 4 months. If so or in any case whats a good replacement.

Aquariumplants.com have them for $30. I'd replace it. They only have a reliable working life of ~ 12 months anyhow.

oh yeah also I'm confused on how to properly store these, long term and during wc, and after the recommended cleaning with 50/50 denatured alcohol / and water.

I'm not sure about your specific probe, but we (at my lab) store all our pH probes in KCl salt solution. The working life of our probes is 2 years or so, and that's with daily use.

We use Calomel glass probes. They have an internal solution that is easy to fill and maintain. So of the other electrodes that use membranes may actually leach internal filling solution into the solution being tested.
