When I test my PH with the API Master Test kit, it says, my
pH is between 6.6 and 6.8 which is where I want it for CRS.

When I test it with a API strip, it says my PH is 6. 2.

When I test it with easy strips, it say my PH is 6.6

When I test it with my brand new PH meter, that I just
calibrated yesterday. The meter says, my PH is 7.4?

I am not sure what my PH is, and I want it to be around
the 6.6 to 6.8 area for Crystal Red Shrimp.

I don't know what to do here?
Any suggestions? Thanks, Doc

Yeah, I think the liquid is probably right. It is also closest to the strips. I recalibrated the meter, but I still get the same PH reading. The meter is brand new and expensive, but I am not sure about it at all. I follow the calibration instructions exactly, and did the calibration twice, but it still does bounce around a lot.

My substrate isn't very old at all. Two months, and the tank is clean, my CRS seem perfectly happy, and are exploring the tank. They seem to get more colorful by the day to me. So, if it all goes okay for the week, I guess the PH is okay.
