Ph calibration

I have a Milwaukee ph controller and I don't have any calibration liquid left. Is there anything around the house I could use to recalibrate the probe. There's no where in my area that sells it and the only one my lfs is about 35$

Only thing I can think of is deionized water. That should be ph 7. But you need a a lower one too, like 4 ph.

You can get small PH calibrating solution satchels on evil bay, you just get the salts and mix with DE water yourself. Cost pennies, but you have to wait a while though.

I assume you are re-calibrating your probe? Without precise reference fluid re-calibrating is pointless. Leave it as-is until you get appropriate fluid.
