They seem to be rotating sales from one group of fish to another during the holiday shopping season. Anyway, was a happy camper to see the $1 price tag on the angel I picked up the other day - some kind of zebra lace, but the stripes have morphed into a reticulated network over the fish's body - with a deep green behind it.

Pretty cool little fish.

I was thinking that if they stayed alive for you, you could totally make a serious profit off of a trade in at a local shop. Most pet shops for a Medium sized Angel start anywhere between 15 and 20 bucks.

They told me they no longer sell the other sizes, true for other stores?

The one here has them about the size of a quarter, every now and then they get shipped larger ones, about the size of a half dollar. Its honestly up to the place they are shipped from, but I have never seen ours get them smaller than a quarter.

I did get 1 nice gold one for $2.50 about 3 months ago he's still tiny but a beautiful looking fish

I got two the other day.

They are about a quarter size. I got a white with black spots and a black with white spots! Cant beat it at a $1 each!
Got two albino cories to!

The size of these $1 fish sale are pretty small. I got 3 silver dollar no bigger than a nickel not too long ago from them, 1 is remaining out of the 3. Could have been from bullying by the larger tetras and ohter factors.

I just impulsed on the dollar thing myself yesterday. But I got some more tetras and cherry barbs for my community tank.

Yep. The ones here were dime-nickel sized. The one I brought home looked happy and at-home for three days ... then vanished into the wilds of the 75g, which houses enough shrimp and snails to make short work of a paper-thin carcass, if such exists. (T_T)
