The plants at petsmart (Top Fin brand) are pretty good, it turns out. I've only had one plant, Bacopa Caroliana, and it's taken off. I'm thinking about getting some DHG and S. Repens as well as some alenthera reickneii or P. Helferi. Any experience on Petsmart plants?

I've heard pretty positive things about these actually (the ones that come in the little baggies with the gel).. no rock wool to pick out, and they're relatively healthy. Haven't tried them myself, though.

I have had great luck with the wisteria, dhg, alt reinecke. My st. Repens melted pretty bad but did come back. I have no complaints except lack of selection. I also like petco, they usually have ludwigia and anarchis, sometimes rotala and others. Its a store to store thing with them though.

I was hoping to find stauro but out of like 10 different types there was no stauro.

Has anyone had any luck with downoi that doesn't have CO2?

Would I be able to keep downoi with excel?

I was wondering also if there is a list somewhere that says what plant is what? Like the scientific name and the common name.

The topfin plants do look like a really good buy. I also compared them to the Petco brand. You got easily 3x the amount from TopFin at petsmart. The bag was stuffed to either side and at Petco there was three distinct clusters, very small. I don't think they vary more than $2 from each other either!
