Peristaltic Pump not working

Hey guys,

Recently replaced the tubing in my peristaltic pumps from silicone to norprene. I installed it back in, lubricant and all and it won't turn. The pump will run when the tubing isn't installed but once I do, it doesn't work. What could be the problem?

Is it possible that the seller send me tubing that was slighting thicker, resulting in the pump not being able to turn from too much resistance?

Below are old photos

The tubing has only so much lifespan, I would not attempt to clean or otherwise revive it.

Buy some from a peristaltic pump manufacturer, or from a well sorted supply place (Grainger?). You want Santoprene or Norprene tubing. Silicone will most likely harden too fast and not get squished enough to prevent back flow.
make sure the thickness is equivalent. If the new tube is too thick the motor isn't going to run because of friction.
