Does anyone think that a 300gph Penguin 1140 Powerhead, along with a XP3 is too much flow in a 75gal tank?

This was kind of a question without thinking first..... I know it isn't too much flow.

Better question:

Has anyone used both together? Or, has anyone used an 1140 on a planted tank? It seems like allot of flow but I think, if angled right, it might work? My fear is, when the plants start to grow more, they will uproot or just bend.
