I recently bought a refugium light to add more red into my tank. I set it up and within a few hours almost all the plants were pearling. Pretty neat to watch, but, question being, is it "good" or at least okay for the plants to pearl? Is it something that is bad for the plants? Do they not care about pearling? Or is it something that aquascapers just like to see happen? Thought?

Thanks for any responses! I appreciate the feedback!

Pearling is the result you see when the water has been saturated with oxygen to the point that it can't hold anymore.
It's a product of photosynthesis where the plants take in light, water, Co2, and nutrients to create sugars that they use to fuel growth and survive, and oxygen as a byproduct.
This is natural and there's nothing wrong with plants pearling.
