This is my Peacock Eel, Unagi. I've had him for about 8 months now. He used to be a very outgoing fish, swimming back and forth in the aquarium, swimming down the bubble stream, and running through my fingers when I am doing plant maintenance  . But in the past few months he's gone to only occupying the bottom of the tank, usually in a small cave or buried in the substrate. I've read recently online that Peacock Eels prefer to be kept in groups, could this be why Unagi is being so unsociable? Or could it be something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
