patio ponds/outdoor tanks

So the weather in these parts is looking cloudy and rainy for the next couple weeks probably. Does that mean I should hold off on setting up my patio ponds and outdoor tanks until there will be more sunshine? Would the plants not survive the transplant without some sun? I've only done this once before, so I'm not really experienced enough to make that call...

Thanks for any info!

You should be fine using whatever ambient light is available. I've kept plants in a container under a huge fern in a covered patio with zero light for 3 weeks and everything was fine.
Might it even be an easier transition? Even a cloudy day is probably actually brighter than most artificial aquarium lights. Some plants can even get burned if you move them from an aquarium to outdoors without providing some shade for a few days.
