Has anyone taken PAR readings for the Tetra LED fixture used on 15g and smaller tanks? I'd really like to know if Excel would be enough in a 5g crescent tank.

Looks might be deceiving: I'm growing myrio mattogrossense using Excel with that same light at 16" above the substrate on my 10g halfmoon. The 5g crescent is considerably shorter.

How many watt is the light, does it have lens, if so what's the angle and what's the height of Cresent 5G

I tested Fluval Spec at about 12" from bottom. Stock light(2.1+ watts with out lens) will keep low light plants only and sometimes a little deficient. You need 4x1W with 60 degree lens to keep almost anything. However, the tank is too short so the center is slightly too strong. I will test 4x1W 120 when available and let you guys know. I believe 90 degree is the best for nano but so sad, I cannot any 90 degree lens.
