Otocinclus diet

Apart from the obvious, yesterday I observed a gravid female Otocinclus slowly ingesting a blood worm!

In addition to that, this morning the same female slowly 'shaved' off a freshly squashed pond snail to the very last bite!

I would have probably noticed these facts earlier, but as of lately, I'm observing eating habits of my, newly acquired, Stiphodon STO2 'Rainbow', freely intermingling with Otocinclus while feeding on the bottom of my tank.

Very interesting!

That is very interesting! Now I'll have to squish some ramshorn snails and watch to see if my Ottos go for them.
