Hello everybody,
I’m making a biotope of sorts, it’s most certainly not perfect because certain fish were harder to source, but it’s supposed to follow the Orinoco river basin to an extent. It’s a 37 gallon. Waiting for the plants to grow in, added botanicals on the bottom. The hides are for my rams.
Inhabitants include: 2 GBRs, 1 BN pleco, school of red eye tetras, some mystery and rabbit snails
Suggestions welcome :)

Looks amazing! I am doing research currently about to Orinoco basin because I want to create a biotope as well. Have you found any articles or literature into what aquatic plants are native to the area? I know how I want to stock it but I need to get a good list of plants.

Thank you very much! I use the website biotope aquarium for my info, here’s the list of plants from them: if you type into google “Orinoco river basin biotope aquarium” they should pop up. It tells you fish, inverts, and plants found there
List of plants: Cabomba aquatica, Ceratophyllum Demersum, Myriophyllum Aquaticum, Echinodorus sp., Pistia Stratiotes, Lemna Minor.
