Is the 36" 110W version of this light decent for a 30 gallon long?

I wouldnt see a problem with it. IMO if you can afford it get it. See how it works for you.
Huh, I didn't know All-Glass made PC fixtures. If you do get it, I'd like to hear how you like it.

yep. they are actually pretty nice fixtures. we had a couple at the place i used to work. the AGA bulbis very nice looking to me, but some may say its alittle on the pink side.

Yes they make fixtures. They make them for 2.5g's and up!
(Sorry for the snappyness. I fixed that. I shouldn't have done that.)

I found an inexpensive source for them. I was thinking about getting one for the new shrimp tank. I dunno though. (Need more decongestant.)

Does that affect growth of plants?
I need something in the whiter-color range. I have alot of tanks in a small space.
I dont think it will affect the plants much but white would be a lot better IMO
When I come across one again from my inexpensive source, I'll get one.

No, but a pink hue isn't very esthetic. You can always switch out the bulbs.
Sorry if this is a bit late, but I'm doing some CF bulb searching and hit upon this one just now. I purchased an AGA CF fixture a few years back. Actually, I just broke it out and put it on a new 20l I set up. Overall, the fixture has performed just fine. However, there are a couple of drawbacks. First (assuming no redesign), the mirrored reflector is a big rectangle. No parabolic shape at all. So, the reflection into the tank isn't near as good as others (e.g. AHS reflectors). Also, the bulb clips are likely a bit too close to the reflector. This too reduces the amount of light that makes it into the tank.

Seeings how the new 20l I'm setting up is supposed to be on the lower light side, I'm not as concerned about maximizing the light, so the reuse should woek nicely for me. But, back when I was first getting into the hobby and was fixated on "perfecting" everything, I was much happier when I upgraded to an AHS DIY solution.

FWIW,
Brian.
i bought an AGA 125g tank and it has the pc lighting 55w x 3 fixtures and its really nice! the bulbs that come with it are 9325k bulbs that do look a bit pink if you look directly at it but works really nice on the tank.
